My area of expertise is American Literature with two special areas of interest: industrialization and nature in relation to 19th-century writers, as well as poetry and poetics from any era. I’m especially interested in exploring the connections between language, consciousness, culture, and history that can be found through reading literature deeply.
私は特に二つの分野を軸に、アメリカ文学を研究しています。一つは19世紀の作家たちにおける産業化と自然の関係、もう一つはさまざまな時代の詩や詩学です。文学を深く読むことで見えてくる言語・意識・文化・歴史的なつながりを探究することに、強い関心を寄せています。
